Another Place (often shortened to AP) was created as an alternative social board when the flow of new users into LUE was restricted after RevoLUEtion. However, AP became a community of its own which has little or nothing to do with LUE's user base. In several instances when hordes of LUEsers came on AP, the regular users warned them not to be rowdy or inane.
Famous Topics
Like all other social boards, AP boasts a number of regular topics:
- Another Place never Sleeps - Posters earn points and cookies for posting between 10:00 and 10:01 and 12:00 and 12:01. No longer active.
- AP Roadhouse - A large social topic run by bouncers and bartenders (regular members). As of this writing, the Roadhouse is up to its 35th incranation.
- Crystallina's Cave - Started by Crystallina, it has become AP's longest-running regular topic. It is similar to the Roadhouse, but it lists all the members who got the 500th post and beyond.
