EVERYBODY PANIC, abbreviated EP, is a social board created on June 20th, 2007, along with GameFAQs Generations, The End of the World, and The Sacred Realm. Users who frequently post on EP are called EPics, and users who the EPics don't like due to their posting habits are called tomatoes. Many of the board's topics are joke topics, with users posting situations in which people would panic. Users then often post *PANICS* or other similar terms, although the fad has been on the decline recently.
"It"
A long-running joke on EVERYBODY PANIC is a thing named "It". "It" originated in a topic created by the user ghost_fleet. After his original topic purged, many other topics about "It" started popping up. People on the board that have encountered "It" become doomded (not doomed).
Mascot Contest
Started by the user kirbyparufo, EP's Mascot contest is held every year to determine what EP's mascot will be until the next contest. On November 17, 2007, EP voted for "It" to become the board mascot in the first Mascot Contest. On October 8, 2008, EP voted for kirbyparufo to become the board's mascot in a contest that lasted much longer and had many more creatures running for the title.
