Fad Storms can mean any of the following, depending on context:

  • Almost every posted topic is somehow altered and turned into a fad.
  • Lots of old fads are revived and posted all at once.
  • One fad becomes huge, taking over the entire board.

Examples of such are LUE's "Night of a Thousand Wangs" (see below) and RI's "I like my women..." and "I don't want to sound like..." fads, as well as the massive "eon8" fad that occupied the board for the entire day.

Fad storms happen fairly often on bigger, rowdier social boards such as Random Insanity. Probably the most famous fad storm is LUE's "Night of a Thousand Wangs", where every topic made for hours had the word "wang" in its title.
