G. Other is a private board on GameFAQs. It was created on August 12, 2008, after the fifth and final private board contest of 2008. It is owned by WRRYYYYers. Its co-admins are Wii_Owner, -LusterSoldier-, Sir 0rion, KabukiJake, Demonoid Phenomenon, and XxRabidxX. The board's names comes from a board fad on PotD.

The board nominates new users by request of its current members in a nomination topic that's stickied. The users at G. Other are referred as 'Others.'

Fads

BTB's Word of the Day: The user BTB will make a topic about a word, which is usually difficult or has a very small niche.

Horrible Questions: This series was initiated by PaperSkyscraper. He will ask a question with actions that users normally don't do or find appalling, and offer a fictional reward for each action that is usually in the form of money.

Nonoba Uno: This an online game played off-site where Others would play against one another, usually in a gameroom titled G. Other. However, the game was removed from where it was hosted as a possible result of infringement.

Polls: Occasionally, a user will make a poll, and almost always include the option G. Other.

Rate a Random Person I Know: Started by topherT. He'll post a pic of a female and the users would rate the pic.

Roll Call: Also created by topherT; this involves posting a topic about a question that users answer, and they sign the topic. Users that sign at every 100 interval get mentioned.

Incidents

The board has had a history with the Pokemon Diamond Pearl Social Board, with several board members (including G. Other's owner, WRRYYYYers) being suspended for invasion in at least three separate incidents after links to the board were posted on G. Other. In all of these incidents, the accounts were later restored to full status. Following the third incident on December 3, 2008, WRRYYYYers made an announcement regarding the board rules; among them was a rule prohibiting linking to the Pokemon Diamond Pearl Social Board, to prevent further incidents.
