MBH Shield, or MBHS, is a spinoff-style message boards site. It was founded in April, 2005 by MBH regular, mrbort, who along with others MBH users of the time was seeking an alternative to Data Analysis. The term "Shield" is a reference to the site's original aim--to create a social environment for MBH regulars where they could be protected from the harassment of their detractors. Over time, the focus of the site has shifted away from GameFAQs and Message Board Help to a purely social community. Currently the site is accessible by invite only.
