Philz20 is a Lead Moderator on GameFAQs, appointed in the 11th Batch on January 27, 2009. He was promoted to Lead Moderator on May 13, 2011. In addition, he is a board admin on the private board KGB.

Early Days

Philz20 originally created his GameFAQs account to browse the Grand Theft Auto III and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City boards. He first truly entered the GameFAQs spotlight after becoming a regular on Message Board Help in April 2003, when he was only 13. After proving himself on MBH, he became friends with another regular of the board, Baseman, who invited Philz to the secret board, Kangaroo. Philz quickly became a core member of the Kangaroo community.

In the summer of 2003, Philz20 participated in the Heartless Bastards shared account group. As a sign of his participation, Philz became known as the Hyper Bastard, a title he would continue to use in his signature up until he became a moderator in 2009.

KGB Years

When KGB was created in 2004, Philz20 became one of the original members of the board. In 2006 as Philz finished his final years in High School, he drifted away from GameFAQs, only posting on KGB and making the occasional appearance on Hacked. After graduation in 2008, he returned to the boards in earnest and became a fixture on Message Board Help once again. Back on KGB, as one of the boards most senior and respected members, tiger8191 promoted Philz20 to board admin in late 2008. It wasn't long after this that Philz was finally selected as a moderator with the 11th Batch. He and fellow 11th Batch new moderator Xboxlover2 became good-natured rivals in moderator activity.

In 2009 in a game of Left4Dead, Philz20 jumped out a window to flee from zombies. There were no survivors.
