Pikadeth's Playhouse
Pikadeth's Playhouse is a social topic started by the user pikadeth. The Playhouse has been around for a very long time, and reaches 500 posts in every single topic. It was originally created as a way for pikadeth to kill time at work, and admins were appointed so the Playhouse would not purge while he was at home. Since its creation, many social topics have appeared following the same structure. Pikadeth feels he is to blame for this problem.
In the Spring of 2005, the Playhouse started to get moderated for being disruptive causing an uproar by the Playhouse Admins on Message Board Help. After the problem was noticed by Sailor Bacon, it was noted that the Playhouse was fine and could stay up without being moderated again.
Topic Structure
The first post in every Playhouse reads:

Welcome in, everyone. Make yourself at home. If you have something on your mind, a question that you'd like to ask, or something about your life that you'd like to share then by all means, let us know! Some of us don't have one and would be happy to live vicariously through you so don't be shy. Remember, that as a social topic, this is an open forum for discussion and thus being so, opinions that conflict with one's own may come up.
1. Congratulations, (user who won their own Playhouse)! You've won your own Playhouse!
2. Thanks to (user they chose to name the edition of the Playhouse after) for naming the Playhouse.
3. When the Playhouse ends a "Name the Playhouse Topic" may or may not be made. In the event that it is made, the admin present will choose the person most deserving of naming the Playhouse. It will have nothing to do with who got the 500th post. That would be bad and disruptive. Bad = wrong.
If a person double posts to win the Playhouse they will be disqualified. Sniping is also cause for disqualification upon the admins discretion. When a Playhouse closes, a Name the Playhouse Topic will be created so that a name can be chosen. Everyone feel free to post your suggestions. If the name that you suggested is chosen you will be given credit for naming the Playhouse.
The Playhouse Admins and I have the final say on what the Playhouse will be named. If they see fit to skip the naming topic and name it themselves they have the right to do so. If you don't like it we'll call the wah-mbulance to heal your broken little heart. If no admin is present, then the winner is to make an "Attention: Pikadeth" Topic and post the title that they'd like to be used in it.
Only the Playhouse admins. have the right to make official versions of Pikadeth's Playhouse in my absence. Playhouse Admins only make Playhouses.
