Zamzara is a board on GameFAQs and is considered to be the unofficial "capital of secret boards". It was originally started by ZZtw0 on August 12, 2002, but it was later given to Luster Soldier in July of 2005. Zamzara is the main gathering point for the board hunter, secret, and dead board communities. An up-and-coming board can gain new posters and notoriety through association with Zamzara.
The main feature of Zamzara is the Top 50 Secret Boards List, which ranks secret boards by post count and is updated weekly The list was started in 2003 as a method of giving board hunters a challenge and of keeping them up to date with all of the secret board happenings and post counts. Boards can be entered on the Top 50 list under an alias to protect their real location. Boards may also delcine entry on the listing. Zamzara itself is large enough to be included on the list.
The main topic was maintained by ZZTw0, who later handed the duties over to Luster Soldier, who continued to use the ZZTw0 account to make the updates. After Luster Soldier's second axe, omegamage11 has taken over responsibility for this topic and Zamzara as a whole. Years later, omegamage11 has been inactive and Dark_Koopatrol took over that seat.
Also on Zamzara there was a The Secret Boards Directory that acts as a catalog of every secret board on GameFAQs and a topic that archives top 50 lists going back to the first one in 2003.
